War Movie Promo and My List of Recommended August Movies

Since this movie has one of my personal favourites (Jason Statham) in it, I'd recommend it to everyone. =P. Here's what I got from wikipedia.org

After his partner Tom Lone and family are killed apparently by the infamous and elusive assassin Rogue, FBI agent Jack Crawford becomes obsessed with revenge as his world unravels into a vortex of guilt and betrayal. Rogue eventually resurfaces to settle a score of his own, igniting a bloody crime war between Asian mob rivals Chang of the Triad's and Yakuza boss Shiro. When Jack and Rogue finally come face to face, the ultimate truth of their pasts will be revealed.

Not bad la, Chinese triads, Japanese Yakuza.. I can handle that.. an FBI agent out for revenge on an assassin.. even better. Top that up with plenty of action typical of a Jet Li and Jason Statham movie. Besides that, what's good about this movie is also it's cast.

Then there's Nadine Velasquez! I remember her from one of my favourite TV series My Name is Earl. Acting wise, I don't even know whether she's up to it or not, but she's hot. Ok? Hot. Hotter than Eva Mendes la at least.

I tak tahan her big picture so I resized it. Voted Sexiest Woman In the World by Asian FHM readers in 2006, she's a growing star in the Singaporean media industry. Do you think she's sexy? I dont know about you but she's not my type. She in this movie too. You might be asking, why the f*** am I writing about her? To be honest I also don't know, she's in this movie mah.

13. Fracture - 30 August. I believe that every Anthony Hopkins movie is a good one, so.. yea, I'm hoping for a good movie here. So far, the reviews I've read were very positive.

10. Handphones
Handphones had been incredibly increasing in the terms of the usage and capability.You can now use it as a mp3 player,web browser,gaming,skype,camera,GPS and maybe some more which i left out.But i still like my PDA.

Watching movies should be your weekly outing with your frens and family(if the weeks have ok releases).Its just pure entertaining.

HK's Second Post (Very Long & Boring)

Yes yes, screw me around for not posting frequently. I've been racking my brains trying to decide what to put on my personal blog and what to put on this blog. Anyway, I think I've come up with something.

Ok I thought of it already, since my camera currently got no battery, and for some reason I can't transfer my phone pictures into my computer, this means that there probably won't be any pictures in my post for the time being. Now what to write leh, I think I shall write my thoughts. (Actually I cannot remember what I wanted to write so I'll just crap around to divert attention). Hey it's a feat never actually done before, writing your own thoughts. So, I'll just start it.

How do I begin? I think I shall start with the point that it's been 4 weeks! Since I touched down. Well, not really 4 weeks, but really close to it la. To me, this time around it feels really really fast. It's like.. "wah, I feel like 3 months passed already but it's only the end of July!" -that kind of feeling. What have I been doing in these few weeks? I shall leave out the very boring and-will-get-me-flamed-raped-beaten-up-and-killed parts. (I've been studying). Then again, it's the first time, I've taken independence to a new level since the past 6 months I've been in UK. Look, I can drive, and it's not a big thing I know.. with all the pemandu kompeten and wa-i-damn-experienced drivers. To think of it, almost everyone in the council can drive already right? Jinz and his Atos/ Fred and his Vios/ KY, Kev, Justin and ZS and their MyVi/ Darren and his Citroen/ KK and his Jazz/ me and not-my MGRover/Ben and his Swift. Kesianlah, Rudy tak boleh/tak nak/tak ada kemampuan/tak ada ooomph/ tak ada power/tak dipermitkan/tak-WhateverLaICannotThinkOfAnythingElse drive.

Cheeb** when I thought it was going to rain, it suddenly became so godda** sunny. Ok, back to what I was saying. Independence. I've been out quite a number of times. Starting with the futsal match on 7th July. Genting on the 7th and 8th. Then Annjoe's farewell gathering on the 9th. Then an outing for Harry Potter on the 11th. Ben and Annjoe's departure to Melbourne and Shanghai respectively on the 12th. Then I don't quite remember many things already.Went to another friend's gathering on the 19th and 20th. Then Genting again (this time not for concert, but for my entire maternal family gathering) for the weekend. Ky's 4th farewell gathering on the 17th was it? Then KY's 5th farewell gathering yesterday.

Lol rupanya KY got so many farewell gatherings. Everyone really really loves him eh, sure beats yours ben. Plus, this Friday the *looks at handphone calendar* 27th of July, we're going to have another gathering. Futsal Gathering.. at Sri Petaling Carrefour on top there wotsitcalled place. So, with so many things done and to do, this leaves me with not much time at home.

Ok back. So.. what do I do back home? One quarter of the time, I'm the family driver. Otherwise it'll be either part time housekeeper or cleaner. Then the remaining amount of time will be online, - and studying - .

Come to think of it, I've came back home 3 times, each time meeting my family and friends. Then again, I've only seen each of them for a limited period of time, and yet, each and every one of them have grown. Look at everyone now, going off to university already, driving cars, still no girlfriends (except Rudy), all in this time frame of a year and a half.

On another digression, yesterday evening was the funnay. 11 of us (excl Ben, too bad Aussieboy you got your Scot-Chinese girl) left Fred's house at 6.30pm for dinner at Steak Out. There were some other suggestions for places to eat so we had to discuss. Discussion point? 11 people in 2 cars, side by side on the road. Drivers? Me and Jinz. It was so goddamn funny and chaotic at the same time. If only the video was available. Hahahahaha..

Looks like after driving about for an hour, I've even forgot what I was supposed to write before. Oh well, it's the end of my post. I'm expecting a lot of tiu-ing from everyone else for this post. Ok la, looks like not many people are back from uni yet. So I'm safe, no one saw the half written posts.

my first ever AI robot!!!

well..today is my first robotics lab experiment test...haha..first let me ask u wat do u think u can do with 2motors(as legs), 2LED, 2 transistor, some manila cardboard, a ping pong ball, an electric circuit, a battery holder, battery, a switch and some wires?...the answer runs in my mind as i have exactly 2hours to complete my lab before i fail the thing...this is how it looks like before it was assembled..

not long after that, we followed the lab sheet and assemble the components according to the schematic diagram given in the lab sheet and in fact there is also a sample to refer too..however there is a catch, the sample is arranged wrongly on purpose to confused students who are to lazy to look at the schematic diagram( dun ask..i am also one of those lazy people)..thanks to kee i manage to save my project in time..so i spent most of the time repairing my wrongly placed components...tick tick..15mins left..i was doing the final touch up to my little AI robot..

for the full view of the pic, u can find the thing inside my house drawer..lol..anyway..the robot worked perfectly and i was real happy..it was like when u are in a losing footbal match where suddenly a miracle come back made by the players..i felt the MVP of the team..i gotten a 29/30 for my project..yeah..highest in my group that day!!..can u make ur own robot today?

Feeling Hot on a Cold Night

Last Sunday night there was this Miss Asian Uni Night SEMI FINALS being held at a certain F-Four club in Melbourne. I was there with another mate by the name of Daniel an ABC (Ozzie-born Chinese) to go support his friend Janey, who was one of the 8 contestants participating that night. It was supposed to start at 8 p.m. but i suppose the Malaysian culture caught on with them and we were only allowed in at around 8.40 p.m. eventhough I had VIP card (no i dun get the 'sexy time' with any of the contestants even with this card, sad huh).

When first enter, like nothing much la... met two of Daniel's fren one Jap one more Hong Kong both also chio bu (hokkien- fierce women.... haha okla hot girls). Then DJ spin some music and whatever i snap some photos here they are. But before that i wanna say little did I know that there will be so many leng luis that i gonna meet.
