New England Manager appointed

news from yahoo..

Fabio Capello has been officially appointed as England manager, and will begin on January 7th after signing a contract until summer 2012.

The FA finalised a deal on Friday with the Italian's son Pierfilippo that will reportedly net him £6.5 million per year - nearly £30m over the length of his tenure.

The 61-year-old will be joined by his right-hand man Franco Baldini along with assistant Italo Galbiati, goalkeeping coach Franco Tancredi, and fitness coach Massimo Neri.

No Englishman has been appointed to the coaching staff, but the FA said they are keen to make an addition - probably Stuart Pearce or Alan Shearer.

he sucks lah..
the English team has to be run by an Englishman. And I still believe O'Neill's the best choice.

They'll probably fare better than under McClaren though..
